The Phantom Trilogy

Who among us Gen-Xers wasn't completely captivated by the Star Wars franchise when we were young? Nothing I can yammer on about here will do any service to the Mt. Everest, the Zeus, of Science Fiction.

A good many of us were thrilled when we heard that another trilogy - a prequel - was being made by George Lucas. More Star Wars! How could this be anything except good news?

Well… I had been planning to write a giant blog post about how bad Episodes I, II and III are (so bad that they ruin the original trilogy!), but then I found someone that did it better.

Before I send you to this link, a few words of warning:
Though it only thoroughly explores The Phantom Menace, it also touches on the other two films.
It's harsh and unforgiving.
The language is not safe for work.
It's long - seven chapters, each 10 minutes long.
It's also one of the funniest things I've ever seen, all the while remaining dead on the money about how something so right can turn out so wrong.

If you are a Star Wars nerd, or if you thought the Prequel Trilogy was a disaster, you simply must watch this. I will never recommend anything so strongly ever again.

If you're not hooked after the first chapter, your money will be fully refunded.

If only I could, Yoda. If only I could.
